Rocking My New Fashion Forward Frames [+ a Discount for You!]

As you probably already noticed, I'm rocking a little baby bump as of lately and that means I've done a bit of growing... not just in the literal sense, but I suppose you could say I'm growing up too. I've finally decided that I can't ignore my astigmatism any longer and it's time for me to start wearing my glasses, as prescribed.

My first outfit is what I like to call my business casual pregnancy, with a pair of sassy cat eye glasses and a lace-backed vest I felt like I was ready to take on the world. I paired this sassy and sophisticated look with a few casual staples from my closet, a black and white striped 3/4 sleeve shirt, my super comfy jean leggings from a day of discount shopping with my family, and a funky pair of turquoise shoes that are just the bees knees! While I didn't have any official meeting to attend that day, I loved this look and feel like it's the perfect way for me to dress up my bump when I want to feel a little dressy but not go overboard!

My other outfit is way more casual, but my typical style. With a pair of what I like to call my "trendy" or "hipster" glasses, I was able to show off my cool side! I paired this outfit with a cute little pair of maternity shorts, a lace raglan jersey from a recent Stitch Fix, my favorite knitted hat, and of course, a pair of adorable red sneakers to top off my trendy look. I love how versatile this look is, whether I'm going to the local street fair or heading out for a decaf coffee with my gal pal - this is the perfect way to embrace my inner hipster and still rock my super cool glasses with style.

Officially Announcing Baby Harmon's Name & Sharing Our Love for The Cotton Cupcake Shoppe! { + a Giveaway}

I'm going to put this out there for anyone planning on having a child or even contemplating the idea, naming a child has proven to be a super difficult task... I'm not sure how people can just know. Maybe my hubby and I are just super indecisive, maybe I'm just picky or he's too traditional but we've had quite the adventure trying to figure out what our daughter's name will be.

Although, nicknaming her came easily and from the time we found out we were expecting we started calling her our little pineapple. She's been known as the pineapple or our pineapple for about 20 weeks now and while the nickname is super cute and may even be one of her nicknames for life, she may not appreciate being named after a fruit that wears a crown when she's an adult so we had to settle on a real name.

We went through list after list, had narrowed it down to handful of names, finally decided on a first name a few weeks ago, then had the hardest time choosing a middle name. But we finally figured it out, I think the name we've chosen is perfect for this little miracle we've been blessed with and I'm so excited to say she's officially named!

I was thinking we might wait until she was born to announce it on the blog, but it's too much fun to finally know her name and not call her by it. Plus, I love personalizing items and I can't imagine hiding some upcoming projects from you, so without further ado, Baby Harmon is officially going to be named Delainey Kate Harmon.

We decided on Delainey weeks ago, it's the perfect mixture of sweet and classic, but choosing a middle name was shockingly more difficult for us. Kate is our final choice because my middle name is Katherine and my mother and sister share the middle name Kaye, so it's kind of like we are continuing a family tradition with a K middle name but adding our own little twist for her.

Bargain Shop From Your Phone with PatPat!

The Worst Stitch Fix Box I've Been Sent + Why I Still LOVE Stitch Fix!

Okay guys, if you're a Stitch Fix junkie like myself you may have noticed I skipped sharing my fixes the last month or two. While I've been battling nausea, I'm going to be real and tell you the truth... I actually received a fix in February but didn't like the items that came as much as I have in the past so I delayed a bit; with that said, there's no need to fret, I'm sharing the items with you today. Don't mind my lack of makeup and my wild bun, as I mentioned I was battling nausea so I wasn't feeling like getting gussied up but I knew I had to share my fix!

We'll start with this little get-up. The sweater is a gorgeous shade of cream and has a fun detail to it but it didn't really do much for my figure so back it went. I also was sent a purse that's almost identical to one I already own from a few years ago and it's currently stuffed away in a closet somewhere, so there was no need to keep it either. The last item in the outfit was actually my most favorite, the jeans... the thing is, I had just found out I was pregnant a few weeks before and I knew these jeans that fit me perfectly now, wouldn't fit so well in just a few months so back they went as well.

The next item included in my fix is this funky pinky shirt. While it's a fun, business-casual shirt, it doesn't really match me or my style and the print is a bit to reminiscent of 90's wallpaper, in my opinion... so as you can guess, it went back to Stitch Fix too.

The last item in my fix was the one I ended up keeping so I didn't have to bite the bullet and "lose" my styling fee. This dress will flatter my through out my bump-stages and it's actually pretty comfortable so it was the only item that kind of felt like a keeper. The print on the lower half of the dress is a bit bold for me but I'm glad I kept it, over all.

It's interesting how some stylist just totally "get you" and others are so off the mark it's crazy, I would say this box was the worst one I received... but I got lucky with my most recent fix and that means April's Stitch Fix post will be coming soon!

So, even though they may not send you any "must-haves" one month, it doesn't mean you won't be assigned a stylist that totally gets you the next. That's the beauty of Stitch Fix, getting to try on items you may not always have chosen for yourself and then deciding if they are made for you.

Spring Favorites from Forever21!

I can't be the only one counting down the days until Spring has officially sprung... especially with so many cute sundresses on the racks each time I go shopping. With fun floral and stunning little lace details, I'm gaga over almost every dress I try on this season. Dresses aren't the only way to embrace Spring though, with cute little shorts and a couple of rompers that are just too adorable, what's not to love about ditching the winter gear we've been lugging around and start loving the warmth and sunshine?!
